As a society we’ve lost touch with what it is to sustain our own thoughts and actions. We have a tendency to believe that there is this invisible net of security that will save us from our own self destruction and uncertainty.
There seems to be a sense of entitlement to the risks we may take on a daily basis, a shift of blame on all but oneself. If we accepted the fact that there is no magic pill to save us from destructive behavior, and emotion… we’d all be a lot better off.
With that being said, we need to stop victimising ourselves with self pity…and what could be, and start educating our mental states with positive action and setting proper expectations and goals. Do you ever feel like you’re stuck in a rut? This often occurs when one is overwhelmed with too much on their plate. The best possible solution to this is to PRIORITIZE, PRIORITIZE, PRIORITIZE!
Using a snowball approach starting with the most achievable goals and objectives will give the best chance of success in overall wellbeing. The more these goals are accomplished, the more positive you tend to become. We are ultimately responsible for our happiness. No one else can make you happy. If you are unhappy with yourself, the more negative and destructive your tendencies and choices can be. Once this level of consciousness is achieved, life can propel you in a surplus of new and exciting possibilities.
It’s up to you to decide the life you want to live…every day brings a choice. To practice stress, or to practice peace.
